Stormers full-back Jaco Taute looks set to miss Saturday's clash with the Sharks in Durban due to a groin injury.
The Springbok back sustained the injury in last weekend's 17-25 loss to the Bulls in Pretoria which left the Stormers bottom of the South African conference after one round.
In better news for Stormers fans, centre Juan de Jongh trained with the squad on Monday after missing the trip to Loftus. A call has yet to be made on whether he will be fit enough to make this week's team.
Prop Pat Cilliers is likely to play after passing a concussion test on Monday while there aren't too many worries over Nic Groom, despite the scrum-half sitting out training.
Fly-half Peter Grant is also available for selection.

Great news that Peter Gant is back! Elton Jantjies was awful last week ...and in the picture above should focus on less bracelets and more practice at goal kicking?? Joe Peterson is a good back-up for Taute.

not a bad thing. Stormers looked better with Pietersen at 15 and he can kick. More than I can say for Jantjies!!
