Bath have revealed little detail about coach Brad Davis' future with the club after releasing a statement on Tuesday.
Davis has not been involved on matchday since the Challenge Cup fixture at home to Calvisano, with speculation linking him with an exit from the club.
Davis is the sole survivor from the previous coaching regime at The Rec, with Gary Gold, Toby Booth, Mike Ford and Neil Hatley all joining over the off-season.
"We would like to explain our relative silence on the issue surrounding Brad Davis's position at Bath Rugby," said the club in a statement.
"We are not, for legal reasons, permitted to offer any comment whatsoever on the details of this situation.
"However, what we can certainly say is that Brad is indeed very popular here at Bath Rugby and extremely well respected as both a man and a coach.
"Overall, we want the best outcomes for both Brad and for the Club, and hope to have everything settled as soon as possible.
"No further comment will be made until it is deemed appropriate to do so."

Bath RFC and the word "productivity" never strike me as great bed fellows.
Harlequins and productivity.... now there's a match. If Bath measured themselves against Connor O'Shea's men they would fall about 40% below par in the productivity stakes.
Bath, TRY HARDER, As far as English rugby goes you aren't making much of a contribution.
