Ulster captain Johann Muller has been ruled out for eight weeks after injuring his right arm against Northampton Saints on Friday.
An x-ray on Saturday revealed that he has an undisplaced fracture of his radius.
Muller only returned for the province from a hand injury last weekend, lining out in the PRO12 win over the Scarlets.
His latest lay-off will see him miss the return fixture with the Saints at Ravenhill, the Christmas time league derbies and Ulster's closing pool games in Europe next month against Glasgow Warriors and Castres Olympique.

NHsaints - I disagree - if you watch the incident again, Muller's arm was hanging down, and he didn't want to use it properly in the tackle. I think he was already playing with a broken arm - it must have happened earlier in the game.

NHsaints - you are as odious a goon as the players who represent your club. A man breaking his arm is nothing to take a positive from. Any injury could spell the end of a player's career and take away his livihood.
At best you trying to make a point about most your players' lack of intensity during the game, but you made it in a very crass way. At worst you are a cretin.

Well that's one positive Saints can take from that game - our 14st 20 year old winger Jamie Elliot ran into Muller, Broke his Arm and spun out of the tackle. Shame the rest of our players weren't running with the same agression.
