Respect: Luke Charteris

Wales lock Luke Charteris has praised his Australian opponent Nathan Sharpe ahead of this weekend's clash in Cardiff on Saturday.

Sharpe is set to play his final match before retirement against Wales, bringing to a close an outstanding career for Australia and one for which Charteris has the upmost respect.

"Is it his last game this time? He has retired a few times and keeps coming back!" said Charteris.

"Seriously, I've been lucky enough to go up against him a few times, and he is a quality player.

"He really is one of the standout second-rows of the last 10 or 15 years, and if this is his last game then he has certainly earned his rest."

Wales have fallen narrowly to Australia in five encounters over the the last 13 months, with Charteris desperate to turn the tide.

"The games have been pretty close, yet it's 5-0 to Australia and that does not look good," added Charteris.

"We know that we are capable of beating them, it is just making sure we nail the little moments that have cost us in the past.

"We know their individual players better than other teams, but it's not a case of knowing what to expect. We still have to do our homework and see what new challenges they have brought into their game.

"It is the last game of a long season for them and their bodies will be tired, but at the back of their minds they know that they are 80 minutes away from being on the beach with their feet up."

That post sums up the state of the brain of geoergesmith so now we have another player abused because he has the temerity to disagree with the warped opinion of georgesmith. We know he slags off R.Deans, N Shape D Dennis and countless other OZ rugby players, we know he believes all the NZ players are cheats, as are half the international referees. Now the Welsh player, Luke Chateris, is stupid because he respects Nathan Sharpe.

By the way georgesmith did you see the picture of Nathan Sharpe holding up the Cook Cup after the Wallabies win over the English at Twickenham. Isn't that a major trophy?

I am now starting to think that georgesmith is really Ross Hastie ghost writing these ridiculous posts and masquerading as this deranged apology of an Australian Rugby fan. Maybe it is to help boost the number of posts to Planet Rugby. It must be something like this because surely nobody in their right mind could week after week come out with such drivel.

How can N.Sharpe have an outstanding career when he hasn't won a single major title or trophy at elite level. He is just over-rated by the media and some stupid players like L.Charteris. I'm so glad he is retiring because Wallabies don't need such a hopeless and selfish lock like him.

But Luke don't you know he is an old man and past it and is of no use to the Wallabies. How can you make statements like this when week after week we are enlightened by geoergesmith about N Sharpe's deficiencies. What on earth is wrong with you? Lol.

Please, Editor Ross, is there any way you can post this article onto georgesmith's email?

Please, please many of us will be forever indebted to you. I even promise not to compare you and Planet Rugby to the Murdoch Press ever again should you carry out this small request.
