Australia lock Sitaleki Timani has been given a one-week suspension for striking an opponent during last Saturday's match against Italy.
The Waratahs enforcer was reported by match commissioner Freek Burger following the incident in the 13th minute of the match.
The suspension rules Timani out of Saturday's clash with Wales in Cardiff, the final match of Australia's European tour as they look for a third win following victories over England and Italy.
With Rob Simmons also suspended following a tip-tackle against France, Nathan Sharpe looks set to be partnered by Kane Douglas in the second row after the Waratah re-joined the squad from London, where his mother has been in hospital recovering from a stroke.

Even though Timani was responding to an incident involving a fellow Wallaby (Sharpe) being caught in a head high tackle which should have also been reported. I have never thought 1 week suspensions are adequate, the entry point. irrespective, should be 2 weeks.

Aus has a tip tackle and a striking offence and hardly a mutter. No outraged press or indignant supporters? No lynch mob?
