Will be fine: Huia Edmonds
Gloucester head coach Nigel Davies has played down fears over hooker Huia Edmonds after the Australian was carried off at Kingsholm on Saturday.
The 31-year-old former Brumby received length on-field treatment from the medical staff after being knocked out when attempting a tackle.
He was then carried from the field on a stretcher but Davies believes the hooker should be fine to return after a week's rest from the playing field.
"Huia was just knocked out, he was fine pretty quickly afterwards, watching the Australia game in the changing rooms," he told The Citizen.
"That's a good boost, he put his body on the line to make a tackle, and because of that he was knocked out.
"It's not going to be serious, it might keep him out for a week or so, but no longer than that really."
