Wales are pondering whether to move George North into the centre for their clash with Samoa this Friday in Cardiff.
Injuries to Jonathan Davies and Jamie Roberts have opened up a spot in midfield alongside Scott Williams, with North and Ospreys centre Ashley Beck both possible candidates to fill the opening.
James Hook, who replaced Roberts against Argentina, is another possible replacement.
"George certainly would be an option in that area. Who knows? We've got other players in the squad," said Wales skills coach Neil Jenkins to BBC Sport.
"Ashley Beck has been training with us and he's doing pretty well at this moment in time, so hopefully Ashley will come through and be available for selection.
"Obviously we're hoping Jamie comes through as well and he's available for selection on Friday as well. Obviously Scotty [Scott Williams] is fit and Jon [Davies] will be missing this week again."
