At least he's a man of his word. On the face of it this doesn't bode well, and it doesn't bode well for young talent at Currie Cup level who will inevitably go abroad but that's happened under White and PdV too. Meyer is right about lacking leadership potential but if he goes for Morne at 10 again it will send out a terrible message. Sorry, feel like I'm on Morne's back all the time but it's not personal. Give Lambie the shirt and the whole season to prove himself, the guy tackles superbly and has a lion's heart, plus an attacking mindset. What a waste.

If HM were smart would be looking to build a team to win the WC in 3 years time. SA have great talent but he, as have other Bok coaches continues to leave out the younsters based on experience and such. So how do they get the experience if they are sitting on the bench of not even picked? I would rather they loose based on inexperince and growing game by game as opposed to lossing with out of form and not up to it players.
