Rohan, not a chance, not saying it wont be close, but a bridge too far, all the same.

Lack of composure in the Irish camp cost them victory last week.

Wales just dont look mupto it against a weakened Ausfailure outfit.

And the English will not beat the Bokke, short of the resurrection of William Webb Ellis, who as far as I can recall, was the last pom to pick up the ball and run with it, with any ability.

@Maubec

As an England supporter ,i dont feel we have under achived this summer. If you read the majority of english fans posts .You will see ,we didnt expect to win the series ,but where hoping to win a test. The fact we have been competative against an experianced and powerfull SA team ,and our young players seem to be improving every game ,bodes well for the future imho.

Now back to Scotland,,got to admit im also puzzeled why Evans isnt starting ,perhaps AR feels S.Lamont will deal with the Samoan physicality better, only explanation i can think of atm .Also still have my doughts about Cuistier to be honest, but he did play well when he came on against Australia ,so perhaps they are unfounded and his found some form. This imo is the big game as far as Scotland are concerned, both counties are neck and neck in the IRB rankings..Scotland will want to prove they are still a force in europe ,and what better way than wining all their matches ,and climbing up the rankings. Also getting the wining habit cannot be underlined enough imo,it gives players confidance ,and beleif

Even if Wales or England manage a win, they will have underachieved by losing their series.

A Irish win would be a major upset and one to tell to grandsons for decades. Their 2nd test is nearly a win and save their sumer tour.

But I agree with kiwilad, only Scotland overachieved with that two wins, even if they loose to Samoa (What I expect [go Manu Samoa !)

And to this underachievement list, you should put also France and Italy who didn't manage to win against a second-string Argentina.

Even if I want a Samoan win this saturday, I'm impressed by Scotland on this summer tour.

Their team seems better and better. The backs selection seems good to me, even if I'd prefer 15 Hogg - 14 S. Lamont - 13 M. Evans - 12 Scott - 11 Visser.

Their backrow is powerfull and skilled. Their 2nd rows are world class. But they need a better front row and more than only 20 international level players to expect a better tomorrow : They only have valuable substitutes for scrumhalf and backrow.

@kiwilad you don't think with how close they came last time Wales and Ireland can manage a win? also I'd never rule out England for an upset

Evans was ineffective against Fiji.

Not that anyone would have thought so pre tour, Scotland will be the only NH visitors going home with their pride intact.

England will be down 3-zip

Wales will be down 3-zip

And Ireland will be down 3-zip

Scotland, Having beaten Australia and Fiji have already overachieved, as opposed to the underachieving of the others.

Why Robinson would drop Evans is beyond me.

Still full strength and a pacy back row. Backs looking better each game and Hogg just brilliant, big effort lads for the final game. Think they can do it but I'd like to see Scotland getting a few tries through the backline at least.
