i think he should have played, coming off the bench at least, seems a perfect opportunity to have the brilliance of quade at the teams disposal and also get him match's under his belt
melkdave-- massive sigh at your ignorance again. why is it a big ask? plus kurtley and JOC will be back soon not to mention mike harris is in the team. lack of depth? youre joking right? i would love to see any country barr NZ have a 4th or 5th choice back up half as good as berrick. in fact even NZ would struggle for that.

Is the Australian club rugby comp running at this time? else he could fly home and play in Tokoroa couple of games for match fitness, as many of NZ's Super players are expected to turn out for their clubs over this three week break.

If he needs game time and confidence, what better opportunity for both then against Scotland. I've lost all confidence in Deans. Stupid decisions in the WC and seems to be continuing in the same manner.

Didnt think QC would be ready for test rugby,and his recall was premature to say the least.Just one question though ??Just how is he going to get gametime given the S15 isnt back till June 29th,and isnt it a big ask of Barnes to play on Tuesday against Scotland then again on 3 following Saturdays against Wales .The lack of depth at FH is worrying if i was an Australian.
