@DaveJ

Nope, Leinster fan and season ticket holder. But being realistic, Ferris and Pienaar have been much more impressive than Sexton and Kearney

Norm says...

Tight one this. From an Irish view could be Kearney or Ferris, Kearney has been outstanding this year as has Ferris, based on all performances I would go with kearney bu my heart and a view to Europe only would push me to Ferris. That tackle against Leicester, christ on a bike!

But sadly( gladly) have to say Pienaar should take this. He has steered and kicked Ulster to Twickenham on Saturday. Agree with the Wilkinson comments, what a bizarre inclusion!

Sexton good year but not the leading light in the tournament, and blametheref... ah you know how to finish that that sentence by now. Enjoy the game on saturday!

She is South African and lives in Italy. Plenty of opportunities for her already around.

Blametheref

At club level, yes. At test level, not sure.

I'm a Leinster fan but id say Ferris and Pienaar are in front so far id say only because Leinster players are all performing brilliantly yes kearney and sexton are standing out more but for overall contribution to the team Ferris and Pienaar have carried the Ulster team forward almost on there own!

an Ulster fan are we Rocky? Just a wild guess.

and yes I am a Leinster fan.

It's gotta be either Ferris or Pienaar, they've both been incredible for Ulster. Kearney has played well, but I think Pienaar and Ferris are more likely than him. Sexton has been great throughout but not quite player of the tournament.

Finally, I have no idea why Wilkinson is there. Apart from the game against Harelquins, during which he was phenomenal, he has been quite poor and definitely nowhere near the best in Europe. Given the fact that he played against such poor sides I would have expected him to have been more impressive, given the calibre of player he is (or at least was).

All in all I reckon Pienaar will edge it over Ferris.

Kearney deserves it on form but all in all Insee Sexton winning it for his overall contribution

Pienaar gets my vote. He has been absolutely nerveless this season. The consistency of his execution in all aspects of the game is astounding.

As a Leinster fan I'd love to see it go to one of our pair but Pienaar is a phenomenon.

I'd say Ferris will take this one. Rob Kearney has been on fire lately, but in my opinion, he's still miles off his best form. Same with Sexton, he played some great Rugby last year, but hasn't hit 100% this season. Pienaar has been good, but not as good as the others. Wilkinson is a write off, there's no reason why he should be there.

I'm a huge Leinster fan, but I got to say Ferris, man is just incredible player. Kearney would be by #2 pick.

Ferris of Kearney for me. Hopefully Kearney can finally win a HC.

Has to be Sexton, all round the best 10 in the NH for the past 3 years

rockman says...

As a Leinster Fan i'd love to see Sexton take it but i think it should go to Ferris. The guy has been immense. In the Semi against Edinburgh he was being held together with tape and still carried the team through. I saw carried the team in the best of manners as he was leading them from upfront and setting the bar for them.

@Carpelone

fat chance, once the ladies get a taste of Sexyboy they're hooked for life! you might as well just accept it now ;-)

why is wilkinson in the shortlist? he almost cost toulon the semi with his wayward kicking and he only started about 3 games in the group stage against mickey mouse opposition
