Conspiracy theorists! Get over yourselves... I am a Kiwi and maybe that makes me biased, but the whole conspiracy thing favouring the AB's went out the window with McCaw being king hit. It certainly dazed him, and he wanted to have a go at the guy, but he just let it go, and none of the team carried it on after the game and complained, that's the difference between the AB's and most NH teams...

Thanks crunchfit

I'm not too sure about grabbing him (Is it Byrne?) by the back of the head but Kaino certainly does appear to throw a punch and it certainly warranted a yellow card and a citing

Now I certainly do not believe in any conspiracy theory and all teams get their share of good or bad decisions from the referees.

However 2 wrongs don't make a right and while I can understand the ref has a difficult job and will miss things the citing officer has the benefit of the video replay

The second minute of the game.

Wrong player by the way. Kaino grabs the back of the players' head and punches him in the face.

Out of interest please advise in which minute of the game Kaino allegedly punched Phillips as I would like to see it on the replay.

@ danut

I don't agree that there is a lack of fair play from the guys running the game.

Mealamu quite blatantly headbutted Moody vs. England. He only got 4 weeks due to his good disciplinary record. Mealamu's intent was clearly to headbutt Moody and a good record does not excuse this obvious thuggishness. However, then commissioners changed their minds and decided that they thought that he did not even deserve 4 weeks, but 2. I cannot understand this decision. What changed before the first and second hearings that could make the commissioners change their minds?

Not only this, but during the Wales vs. New Zealand match, Kaino landed a clean punch on Phillips' head / face when he was on the ground at the side of a ruck. No penalty, no card, no citing.

So please stop implying that there is some sort of conspiracy and stop being so biased.

Clinton, how about the hiding dished up to the Boks at Eden Park?

Reining 3N champs smashed after all the hype around 2 African teams in the S14 finals.

According to African Coach, media and fans alike the game was a foregone conclusion and the ABs were going to get thumped.

@danut

I agree with you about the McCaw-Powell and the McCaw-Hartley incidents. Powell and Hartley should have been at least yellow-carded, but I cannot see a conspiracy theory behind the fact they were not cited or penalized. It is surprising that there was no media fuss. I found both cheap shots as blatant acts of foul play that deserved serious punishment but journalists or fans did not cry foul as in other times. I did, though... (I am not a Kiwi, by the way).
