Ma'a Nonu escaped sanction last week, but was cited this week for a dangerous tackle on Stormers fly-half Peter Grant on Saturday.
The tackle was in the 71st minute of the match, which the Hurricanes lost 37-13.
Nonu, currently suffering a dip in form along with his team, was fortunate to escape a citing last week for a tip tackle on Cheetahs captain Juan Smith.
His case will be heard in Cape Town on Monday.
