Chiefs coach Ian Foster has made two changes to his starting line-up to face the Crusaders in Hamilton on Friday.
The two changes Foster has made are both in the pack, with lock Craig Clarke back from injury and hooker Aled de Malmanche coming off the bench for Hika Elliott, who strained a hamstring in training.
Vern Kamo comes onto the bench as cover at hooker.
Loose forward Sione Lauaki - who was charged with assault on Wednesday - was eligible for selection after completing a two-match ban for a dangerous tackle, but has been left out.
Foster said it was decided not to include Lauaki, given the week that he been through, adding that the player had the Chiefs' full support.
