what's the point of having two refs if their perception of the game is teh same, and different to the players of one side, as it was in a lot of games last year. You could have 15 refs and still not get it right.

Young fit professional players get subbed off before 80 minutes. Refs have to run the entire match. Fatigue alone must contribute to errors of judgement (let alone the complex rules). I'm all for giving it a go.

HAMEZ is absolutely right! Use to line judges to the maximum and possible give more authority to the #4 but lets not have another body taking up valuable field space.

Rather than improve the game, it could actually work the other way, and result in referees awarding more penalties (I feel the NRL is now a lot more "pedestrian" as a result of two refs)

We don't need it, if the touch judges would actually do their job properly the game would run alot better. That and stop adding more rules to fix broken rules all the time, thats why we are stuck in this bogged down game these days.
