Fulgence Ouedraogo: Back in the mix
The return of flanker Fulgence Ouedraogo is the main feature of the France squad named on Sunday to face the All Blacks next Saturday.
Centre Yannick Jauzion keeps his place, but will be partnered by the returning Maxime Mermoz, who was rested for the clash with Samoa.
Injured number eights Imanol Harinordoquy and Louis Picamoles are both ruled out - indeed, it is unlikely Harinordoquy will be back in time for the Heineken Cup matches in December.
Ouedraogo, who was injured, replaces Alexandre Lapandry while Mermoz takes over from Yann David.
In two other changes from the squad that crushed Samoa 43-5 on Saturday, Lièvremont selected hooker William Servat ahead of Guilhem Guirado and lock and former captain Lionel Nallet over Pascal Papé.
20-year-old Benjamin Fall, who won his first cap against Samoa, has also been named in the list - a further blow to the out-of-form Aurelien Rougerie.
"We had to make choices and I can assure you some of them were not easy," Coach Marc Lièvremont told a news conference.
"It will also be difficult to choose our starting line-up before Tuesday morning and I would say it's a good thing because it means that all the players involved in the first two matches performed well," he added.
"We more or less know where we are going and we know that high-level games are won by 22 players as was the case against the Springboks."
