Gloucester wing Charlie Sharples has been suspended for two weeks by the Rugby Football Union.
The punishment comes after the Cherry and Whites flier pleaded guilty to tackling Sale's Marika Vakacegu in the air during their Guinness Premiership encounter last Friday.
Sharples was dismissed in the 35th minute of the 28-23 defeat and will be free to play again from November 19.
That means will be able to face Leicester in the Premiership the following day.
