Bad luck: Simon Taylor
Stade Français have suffered a blow following the news that injury-plagued Simon Taylor will be out for eight weeks due to surgery on a torn bicep.
The skillful back-row forward, who was left out of Scotland's autumn international squad, had only just returned to Paris action from a foot fracture.
But Taylor suffered the problem against Clermont in the 19-19 result over the weekend and is now expected to miss both Heineken Cup fixtures against Pool Four rivals Ulster.
The 30-year-old has not had much luck with injuries over his career and found himself an early casualty on both 2001 and 2005 British & Irish Lions tours.
