Francois Louw: Threat at the breakdown

Springbok openside flank Francois Louw has been identified as the hosts' danger man ahead of Saturday's clash with Argentina in Soweto.

Louw recently signed a contract extension with Bath and two of his club-mates - hooker Eusebio Guinazu and wing Horacio Agulla - have been included in the Pumas' matchday 23.

Guinazu believes Louw's skill in the openside role - particularly at the breakdown - is something which the Pumas will have to neutralise if they want to be successful.

"You just can't let him get over the ball, you can't give him a chance because he will punish you," he told SA

"We've just got to make sure that our ball-carriers stay on their feet for as long as possible, that they don't get isolated and Flo comes into play."

The Pumas suffered a setback when their captain and openside flanker Juan Martin Fernández Lobbe was sidelined with a calf injury.

Fernandez Lobbe, himself a breakdown specialist, will be replaced by Juan Manuel Leguizamon, who know that winning the breakdown battle will play an important role in helping his side to secure victory.

"We will basically have to play our best game to excel in that area, and win the match." Leguizamón said.
