The Pumas need to keep yellow cards to a minimum to keep it close. Remember the Pampas XV in the Vodacom Cup - send offs were a constant problem. Yes the Pumas are a more experienced squad but their slow-the-game tactics lead to more yellow cards imo. Letīs hope it doesnīt happen and the game is close and exciting.

looking forward to the match. Expect the Pumas to play to impress, maybe a little fear factor to spur them on too. The Springboks are real class though so if I had to pick one it'll be SA. Can't wait!

Sometimes it seems to me that we seem to forget that aside from the former tri-nations teams and maybe one 6 nations team (take your pick), argentina are most likely the best of the rest. With me the probem with argentina is at times they seem they tend to respect their opponent too much and think they are not worthy. Case in point, with france (a great rugby nation by all measure) they seem to always be up for it and it almost seems like they think 'these are guys we play with year in year out in the domestic league, faq it, we can take them' hence their recent dominance over france. but with nations like SA, it seems like the 'big name' gets to them. Like rwc 07, Sa won that semi simply because of Argies cracking at the big stage (wayward passes, knock-ons, easy intercepts) not because they were necessarily better. But kybone, i have to agree would have loved to see that 07 squad in this comp.

These boys are gonna be up for this comp and might shock a few people. In my humble opinion they gave Nz a better match in the RWC QF than Aus did in the semi (cue in the Aussie matyrs) as in their game the match could have gone either way (for like 50 odd mins) but in the aussie game it was one way traffic.

I'm betting,if their fitness levels are right and their heads are right,they will get 2 close losses and a victory. The victory being their last match which is at home against Aus (especially if NZ and SA have already run away with the RC trophy by then)

That's not a bad Pumas side. The backs look BIG. Shipping tackles from those lads in the wet could be knock-on city.

Forwards should be a match for the Boks. Close one. Pumas by 5?

Quite a few new names in the team ,from the recent tests against France .A a few very experianced players Going to be a very interesting match against the nokke ,as both sides play a simalar game .Scrums will be imense as niether side is going to backdown there.Lets hope its a good close game ,and not one sided.I think Argentina are going to surprise alot of people this RC

can't help but be worried for Argentina when they move over to NZ/Oz - I think the ABs will just annihilate them. Likely SA will fart around for 60 mins puffing chests trying to make a point about scrums before the backs see the ball and the flood gates open.

Well its not the strongest Puma side ive ever seen. Would have loved to have seen the side that they had around 07/08 have a go in this competition. Im sure that the likes of Ledesma, Leguizamon, Longo, Pichot, Contepomi, and Corletto would have given anyone a game. I don't expect Argentina to win, but i hope they play a great game.
