Fair play to Sykes for coming to Leinster. First act was to make a name for himself by verbally abusing an opposing prop. The second was to get 'injured', sit in the stand or his hotel and take a fat pay cheque despite contributing absolutely nothing. Third act was the classiest - hightail it outta there when the weather gets cold. Great guy. Come back soon!

No Sharkie answering the question.... Why did they let Import Grey boy Strauss go??? Greed must be the answer! They had their eyes fixed on the next Bloem import in Meyer Bosman! Total fools of SA rugby!!

Ralapele at last seems to have stopped impersonating a hooker and seems to have finally become one.

@JayStarr, Liebenburg played a good game as did Strauss for Cheetahs. What impressed me about Ralapele was that his loose play was outstanding. He made quite a few steals and forced a few penalties by doing a Brussouw on the Stormers. He also put in some important hits. Chilliboy may not put in the big runs that Strauss and Liebenburg do, but he didnt concede the penalties that Liebenburg did. Overall at hooker, Bizmark is still the starter for the Boks but Strauss is probably on the bench at present.

I would agree that Guilford in the side would not raise an eyebrow.

Viljoen I thought had a very good afternoon. Dagg, Smith and Danieller did too. I thought all of them were good attacking options, though Viljoen seems the better defensive option and his positonal play is very astute.

@ bloemboy: Viljoen and Ralepele..!? Are you kidding me? Tiaan completely overshadowed Chilliboy in that game... And I actually watched the Sharks game and thought to myself "jeez, Riaan still hasn't found form yet"... Now you're saying he was the best 15! No no... Ben Smith was FAAR better - and so was about 10 other people. Also Savea did not play better than Guildford.

I must say there are some really exciting young players coming through.

Agree with most, except Beauden Barrett... If you watched that game, how could you have picked him over Johan Goosen? But Aaron Cruden gave a near perfect fly-half display, so he should be no.1.

I would've also definitely picked Zac Guildford ahead of Julian Savea this week. Even Hosea Gear and Bryan Habana were better than Savea.

And then... Picking Sykes ahead of Etzebeth is pure madness/blindness. Eben was (once again) undoubtedly the best... And Sam Whitelock was also better than Sykes.

Other than that, pretty good team. Ooshuizen was incredible, Thompson was everywhere, Tiaan Liebenberg was insane and Willem Alberts is starting to look like himself again...

Bring on round 7!!

I had a 100% success rate with my predictions this week, but next week is a tough one..!
