Tricky trip: Tigers travel to Treviso

Argentina international prop Marcos Ayerza will make his 150th starting appearance for Leicester Tigers in Saturday's Heineken Cup clash in Treviso.

Leicester trail Pool leaders Ulster by three points and must win to be certain of staying in touch with the Irish province going into the final round of matches.

Tigers vice-captain Anthony Allen and Tonga international forward Steve Mafi return to the Tigers squad for Saturday's the Pool 5 fixture are both selected among the replacements.

Director of rugby Richard Cockerill makes two changes in the forward pack as Neil Briggs starts at hooker, and Ed Slater is replaced by Sebastian de Chaves after taking a knock in the match against Bath last Sunday.

De Chaves lines up alongside Louis Deacon who makes his 66th European appearance for the club, moving ahead of Ben Kay and into third place in the Tigers' all-time list behind former captains Geordan Murphy and Martin Corry.

Only nine points split these two sides over their two Pool matches last season and the Tigers had to wait until the last play of the game before securing a bonus point in their clash this season at Welford Road. That 34-3 victory was far more clear-cut than previous meetings and Tigers' director of rugby Richard Cockerill knows his side can take nothing for granted in Italy.
