Sharpshooter: Dan Biggar

The Ospreys moved up to fourth place in the RaboDirect Pro12 thanks to a comfortable 28-3 victory over Treviso at the Liberty Stadium.

The hosts made two changes to the team that started the win over Cardiff Blues last time out with Ben John in for Tom Isaacs at wing and Joe Bearman replacing Jonathan Thomas at number eight, while an illness to scrum-half Kahn Fotuali'I led to a late call-up for Rhys Webb to the game.

In what was their last home game of the regular season, they needed the win to continue their claim for a semi-final place.

Treviso named an unchanged team from the one that was named for their postponed fixture against Connacht at the end of March.

Ospreys went into the half-time break 14-3 up thanks to an opportunistic try by Ben John, after a charge down from a kick out of the in goal area.

The decision came after careful consideration by the officials and a referral to the TMO, but they found that John wasn't in touch when he caught the ball, and he grounded cleanly.

Biggar gave his side more breathing space, touching down between the posts ten minutes into the second half after great pressure on the Treviso ball carriers forced them into a costly error.

Webb completed the convincing win by scoring in the final minute, leaving Ospreys in fourth place, level on points with Scarlets.
