@ Trinats, seriously you're just a deadbeat loser.
You're not funny, you're rehashing the same lame sparks to stoke fires that were burnt out a long time ago. get a life.

?? with rain predicted Wales should keep the roof open, keep it to 10 man rugby, they would be silly not to. But then again they now have a Kiwi coach back, like Aus, for him to stuff things up for them.

Craig Joubert to have this knocked over in the first 20 mins, keep the Welsh crowd quiet will be his tactic. A win for NZbert 20 +

@rugby_rockstar - you mean the team that often beats England. That is funny!
Personally Id be amazed if the roof was kept open - would be very naive of Wales

I think the AB's are too good to lose this one. However I predict that the Welsh will bleed for their jerseys this weekend. You just won't know it looking at the colour.

"I wonder how much the 2007 loss here preys on the ABs minds" - what??? It didn't seem to play on their minds in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Not the most intelligent comment I have seen today.

I think its really sad what's happened to Wales (formwise) recently, not that i wasn't ecstatic for Samoa and Argentina. In my opinion, Nz v Wales should have been the appropriate Rwc 2011 final, going by form into the final and the draw of the final table. Im not trying to bring up a debate on a certain yellow card, but im just saying on form then, that would have been the final I would most have liked to see. So to have an opportunity to see that game now, with an out-of-sorts Wales is just saddening.
Wales have as much chance of winning as Zane Kirchner has of being selected Bok fans Springbok of the year.
I'll be hugely surprised if it isnt a whitewash. Or more appropriately a blackwash!!!

I think Wales and NZ have the most exciting rugby (alongside Australia when their bench is not on the pitch and France when they fancy playing rugby). So I am looking for a cracker. ABs to win though imo against a totally out of form Welsh team.

I love the roof on the millenium stadium, the recent rain and storms have no chance of stopping this game so we can all just settle down with a beer and laugh at the Welsh team!

@Isograford - Really? You think this is their best opportunity to beat the All Blacks? I think history will tell that it doesn't matter when the Welsh face the ABs, it's going to be tough. The ABs are in form and the Welsh are not. How is this in any way the best chance for the Welsh to win? Defeated by Samoa and The Pumas who the ABs beat twice. I am just as much looking forward to a good game of rugby, but reality says that ABs will win this, and win comfortably.

Dont know what games you've been watching but Liam Messam is highly overrated! Watch him for 10-15mins during a game and you will see what I mean. When you have workhorses like Read and McCaw doing the donkey work you can hang out and glorify yourself with big plays, however NZ hasnt been as strong this year upfront, so he's better being in there helping out. The funny thing is the NZers have played teams below strength, SA, OZ etc. have been under-strength all year, same goes for some of the northern teams and Wales. NZ still a formidable team with McCaw and Carter, but issues when they dont play.

Thinking about the venue, I wonder how much the 2007 loss here preys on the ABs minds? To some extent it's academic, for these days the Welsh composure is brittle, as we found out when they blew it in Australia.

Come on PR Craig Joubert is worth at least 20 to NZ, NZ ability another 80+, less NZ's empathy toward Wales slump -50. End score Wales 18, NZ 55.

Ok, even as a Kiwi the prediction of the All Blacks by 15 is way out there. This has all the making a giant Welsh ambush, they might even get the win.
If Carter is out, the All Blacks on the back of one hell of a long season, and playing at home, then Wales will never get a better chance. This is not the AB team of the past couple years that had Thorn, Kaino and SBW in it, all arguably the best in the world in their positions, so if Wales is going to snatch one, they should do it now.

@dangerous
really, how did you work that out? I had France, England and Wales potentially all in the same pool.
Personally, I hope Wales do well and maintain 8th spot (at least) so we can have a tough pool otherwise I think we're up against a similar pool as 2007 and that didn't help us prepare (no disrespect intended to other teams in 9th or 10th).

So potentially we could be looking at nz eng and Wales all in the same pool. Nasty.
