BokAvenger, I didn't see the new article you are referring to and I certainly didn;t comment on it, so by all means give APV1 stick if he was stirring it up (doesn't surprise me) by don't have a go at England fans because then you're having a go at me and also blowing your whole self righteous diatribe out of the water all by yourself.

I thought all you Bok fans would be ashamed that he missed the eyes on this occasion. He's no Botha after all. Better luck next time.

So is Alan Mansell now going to be cited for slander against Eben Etzebeth not to mention bringing South African rugby into disrepute by giving false accusations which clearly were incorrect if you see the footage. He's also disrupted this weeks training, hopefully not too much...

Relief!

Very happy Eben can play, he is such a great lock and always engaged in the mix.

The Boks already relying on him - and it is amazing, how quickly he was able to fill the big boots of Victor & Bakkies.

Hope Bekker recovers and finds his form again, too. Nice lock pairing for VeePee and SA.

Would rule the air and the ground.

Saw it, it was a nothing, his hands were around the chest in the maul it slipped up to hold his head, maybe for half a second, but he let go. Fingers were on this face / jaw, but definitely no where near the eyes, well that was my impression

Justice prevails. Where are all the smug clowns who had convicted Etzebeth for, in the words of APV1, "gouging someones eyes out with his studs" ? PATHETIC and downright spineless attempt by ingerlund to disrupt the Boks ahead of the test with absolutely no regard to the impact on a 21 year old's career.

All anyone needs to know about this FARCICAL citing is the following:

Etzebeth was cited on Monday by Alan Mansell of England (FUNNY THAT) under Law 10.4 (m) for ¿making contact with the eye(s) or eye area¿ of flyhalf Greig Laidlaw

Irish IRB judicial officer David Martin ruled that the contact in the area of the Scotland player¿s eyes was accidental, and as such did not constitute foul play.

A very low key announcement. The whole saga was a joke. The verdict was on the 20th, the story released on 21st.. The citing was front page news. Why not the outcome??

Excellent, can all the chops who were screaming saffa thugs please be quiet now :-)

I see him putting in a man of the match performance now.

And I wonder which nation is the one using "dirty" tactics now?

Hi PR,

Seeing as this story created rather a stir, wouldn't it have been better to put the news of the clearing on your home page? Just asking.
