@s15rules - LOL, what an ingenious comeback, so good that you have me lost for words. Never heard such words of wisdom in my life and feel totally indebted as a result. Please let me know where I sign-up to repay this tremendous and beneficial debt.

Go Reds...
I can see this match being a grinding encounter - Higgs and Rob Simmons from Theodore as well as Gill to shine.

Last year the Crusaders had a horrible travel schedule at finals time and failed at the final, after a long long journey from South Africa to Brisbane (and much travel beforehand).
@ Jaystarr I think the your comments on the Sharks pack are spot on, but the last twenty minutes might be anxious for you as a spectator.

that's four countries not one !!! and the Great bit in the UK is Wales !
Are you guys serious about the Sharks ??? Is this the same sharks from Durban that lost to the bottom of the table Lions !!!! Or is this a Sharks team from France ?
Check the bookies and what they think, it will bring you back to reality !!!
Reds comfortably.

C'mon SHARKS !! i think they could squeak it too BUT home ground advantage has to favour those Aussie, sheep shagging, shackledragging, bogun, pooftahs.
haha..sorry Aussies but from my Aussie mates i have learnt that its best to get your own verbal in as early as possible !

In other news: I feel sorry for Jonathan Kaplan already! If the Reds win, he'll be villainised in South Africa for having been unnecessarily hard on the South African side... and if the Sharks win he'll be villainised in Australia for having been favourtist!
Why the hell couldn't SANZAR appoint a NZ referee? Such as Glen Jackson? This was a dumb decision.

The Sharks to win.
The Reds always step up to another level at Suncorp... but the Sharks are on another level already. If the Sharks play like they did against the Stormers, Bulls and Cheetahs (their last 3 games), they will beat this Reds team pretty convincingly.
Yes, the Sharks are without Lambie and Francois Steyn, but Steyn didn't play against the Stormers and look how well they did there - particularly Whitehead at 12 (as it will be on Saturday). Lambie played at fullback for the Stormers game and missed the Bulls game - and Michalak shone at 10 in both of those. So they'll be fine without Lambie and Steyn...
But what really swings it in their favour is their pack. This is the best pack they have put on the park this whole season - and they are all in MENACING form. That whole front row (especially Bismarck) and Alberts took a massive step up in the tests and has played incredible rugby since then, but so has the back row. Keegan Daniel, Ryan Kankowski and Marcell Coetzee is on fire right now - without a doubt the best loose trio in the competition in the last couple of rounds - and now they are including Alberts at 4!
Sorry, but the Horwill-less Reds are going to be man-handled up front... And that means Genia will be under pressure. And Cooper won't be there to take it off him. And that's why they are going to lose. The Sharks, with the form they are in at the moment, will just be too much of a step up from the pathetic Waratahs and lacklustre Highlanders for the Reds.
On current form the Sharks are the 4th, perhaps 3rd best team in the comp - and the Reds are 7th - at best... (the Hurricanes are definitely better than them at the moment). So the home ground advantage will count for something, but not for much.

@trinuts - Idiot! Can't handle your own country being insulted but you're more than happy to insult other countries that I'm assuming you haven't lived in.
Likes the Truth Hurts said, every country is great for their own reasons. Nothing wrong with national pride but you don't need to take it over the top.

@TheTruthHurts. Agreed, perfect compromise, but of course specifically from a RUGBY point of view....so we don't exacerbate any editorial jock itch...:)

@ new_j4a et al - let's have a little think about how many countries actually are officially "great"...
United Kingdom of GREAT Britain and Northern Ireland.
That's one.
and...
erm...
Oh. That's it.

The Red's should be so overwhelming embarrased by their unearned home quarter that they offer to start with a 10 point handicap. Or have Cooper forcibly reinstated at 10. Which is almost like a 10 point handicap. Plus giving him the afternoon off must make local laptop owners a little twitchy.......

@TheTruthHurts - well said, I have been to both SA and NZ; both have fantastic attributes and are impressive in their own rights. Australia is home & my birthright and therefore will always be the greatest place to me.
