Agh shame!

Get well soon, Coenie, we will miss you meanwhile.

But take your time to FULLY recover, a neck injury is nothing to fool around with especially as a prop.

Greyling has had an excellent Super 15 season so far, and although he is perhaps not as versatile and strong as Coenie in the scrum, he offers an immense amount in the loose and carries the ball over the gain line. On the basis, that he is likely to be used as an impact player this is a good selection by Meyer as the Boks will benefit from Greyling in the second half when the game opens up.

This guy is mean! English front row isn't any trouble anyway so might as well stock someone in who's going to add even more physical to the loose. Want to see more from the beast this wkend though he was quiet considering his recent s15 form

The most exciting prop in world rugby.

The goose step...the fetching...the carries, and scores plenty..

Big blow!

Big blow. Oosthuizen and Jannie du Plessis are the only genuine tight-heads in SA at the moment. Hope Greyling can step up to the plate.

Fish, I think Os was involved under PdV but was forced out, does anyone else know better? Personally I think scrum coach de Villiers will be a massive boon for the Boks. Been a long while since Boks had a decent tighthead, Cobus Visagie I reckon. Since then they've been middling. Oosthuizen looks a class above and hopefully will concentrate on tighthead, injuries permitting. With WP Nel coming to Edinburgh perhaps the Cheetahs will give him more time there? Again, need some local knowledge from the Saffas.

A bit of a blow for the bokkes to be honest,as JDV does look a bit vunrable to be honest, espically in the loose

Hmm Greyling is a loosehead and not a very good scrummager, despite his bulk. Who knows how he'll go at tight-head but it doesn't bode well if he has to play out of position. Jannie DP is carrying a niggle as we know, so the Boks really do need tighthead cover. Isn't Matt Stevens a tighthead? Ha ha!

Heyneke, this apparent Bulls-bias might be going too far. In fairness I guess the only two reasonable SA-based tightheads left are Pat Cilliers and Werner Kruger (who is also a Bull).

quite a blow.....been one of the standouts in super rugby for the cheetahs and south african conference.....but he was brought on as an impact player to come off the bench, i still have faith in jannie.......i havent seen greyling enough to really comment...maybe someone out there can enlighten about greylings ability???
