to those who asked, Sky NZ runs a dedicated (24 hour??) rugby channel which shows current AND classic games (like the '73 ABs-BaaBaas). They also show schoolboy rugby as well as non-NZ games like Heineken Cup, Magner¿s League, Top 14, Guinness Cup, Anglo-Welsh Cup, European Cup and Japan League. Not sure what else they show

They have a dedicated rugby (Union and NRL) channel over in Thailand (and possibly elsewhere in Asia). So not entirely sure why Sky couldn't get one. But then there's an arguement as to why every sport couldn't get their own dedicated channel. I reckon there would have to be a dedicated football channel before they even thought about a rugby one.

Amazing idea though.

@pierredelot1 - Allen got into the Tigers first XV because his defence and organisation was considered superior to Twelvetrees, and he helped back Flood up. I wouldn't worry about him in that regard. And whilst Waldrom isn't the future, I can't think of many better English 8s doing the rounds at the moment!

I think that this team is a bit of an insult to England. Aside from the fact that these are unheard of players, my main worry is that a few of them will have BokAvenger-like mentalities and go out to injure English players. I hope the ref has a pocket full of red cards. I really question the point of this IF this team is made up of tough, stupid, relatively talentless players looking for an opportunity to make a name for themselves by flooring a couple of POMs.....very bad for South African rugby and our image overseas.

By the way, I have the inside story on BokAvenger....not sure if I should share it....maybe next time.. :)

they better hope the baabaas get no position. Electric England backs but very light weight. Only Jordan T-H has any bulk in the backs. Avoid him and bash it up and they'll find holes. Could be embarrassing if there's parity up front which we should not rule out given it's South Africa. Not so sure this will be easy for England.

Like the look of that team ,and realistically England should win and win well ,as all the Barbarain players are Currie cup players with no S15 players at all .So heres hoping for a big England win

On a side note wouldnt it be fantastic is SKY ,had a dedicated Rugby channal like they have for boring F1.So many good games not getting airtime like the Argentina-Italy test last weekend ,The upcomming Scotland tests ,and of course atm the Pacific nations cup ,and the JRWC matches, and upcomming IRB nations , Would be so great to at least see highlights of those matches Im pretty sure SKY would get alot of viewers for this channal LOL .Anyway alot more than they get for boring F1
