Agree Joney. Wales are strong against the bulky crash ball carriers like Ireland and England with their ankle tackles and Lydiate able to read the predictable lines. Wales might even have a chance v ABs as they match them for size even without Roberts. But any team with a touch of unpredictability and with nimble feet will get around the Edwards defence lead Wales. QC I think is the right guy to carve them up, if he can get close to his pre WC form.

devastating for rugby in general. positive is a chance for mogg or morahan to perform at fullback. wales still no chance it doesnt change. and like i say i like wales as much as the next guy but they are going to be in for a rude shock with the new generation of stars in aus

A pity for Australian rugby, having a tough season with injuries & a few players out of form, losing Beale who has been a stand-out the last few weeks is massive. I feel for you boys Trinats & Walleroo, hope to see these guys back soon - especially when you play us Boks (revenge is on the cards from the world cup, so we will be keen to beat your best). Sure your youngsters will stand up to the task, plus it's good exposure.

Wasnt Deans enjoying his stength in depth? I hear Larkham is available.

Well Trinats will be happy, QC should get a game and the growing Wannabie injury list will give him more excuses to go with, having "Kiwi" Deans as a coach and the fact that one of the Wales tests will be played "away from home" in Melbourne. Plus it is not fair that Wales are coached by a Kiwi with two broken ankles who may not even be able to make it to Oz for the series and that the referees will all be bought and paid for by the Welsh Mining Association in association with the Cardiff All Girls Male Choir.

Seriously though I hope KB recovers for the "Championship" I have enjoyed watching him play from his St Joey days, he is a great talent and I feel he is better at No 10 because that is where he is of greater benefit for the team. Great teams have always had great No 10's and I am afraid QC just does not cut it.

Australia, please understand that it is NOT acceptable to let Wales win this series. The Welsh already believe that they are the best team in the world, and it is essential that they are not allowed to beat SH teams (other than the odd blip).

So QC hasn't played and neither has Rocky..? Are there that few 10's in OZ and more depth in the back row?

I think that each time we get one of these stories, Wales' chances get better and better...

That is a massive blow for the wallabies, looks like QC will now be thrust straight back into test rugby. As their only recognised international class FH still standing.Lets hope he is / will be fully match fit and able to play his full bag of tricks. Also even if KB wasnt injured and QC played losing KB means the wallabies have lost a great strike runner from FB,real shame

Good opportunity for Wales here then. After the great performance the Ospreys put up in beating Leinster to win the Rabo direct league ,these Welsh players look on song
