If england didnt have so many injuries i mite have given it to them but i barely recognise a majority of these players. Aussie should beat them but i dont it will be a tharshing everyones talking about.
On that best blindside note, there aint any dominant blindsides at the mo. Juan smith is a good mention. Im a kiwi and even i know Kaino is no where near the best. He can play well at times but consistantly goes missing thru games.

Hi, my name is Gabo, I am from Argentina. I think it will be a very intresting test match for both teams. No doubt that Australia is favourite, but England can always give big a sourprise. I know it will be hard (almost imposible), but hope is the last thing to loose!!.
What do you think about Argetina's PUMAS?? They will be playing against England in a few days!! Any pronostics??
By the way, welcome back Jonny!!! Always a pleasure having you back in the courts.

I think there are a lot of "really good" blind-sides around. But none really "stands-out". I think to be the best you don't just have to be better than the others, but a LOT better. Consider Richie McCaw, or Fourie du Preez, or Victor Matfield or Dan Carter. Not only are they "the best" but there's no-one else who comes even close.
With the blind-side flankers no-one really stands out - there are a handful playing at the top level, and Elsom is definitely one of them. But blindside flankers don't get a lot of glory. All they do is tackle.

Is johnnos form realy back on par?..i doubt he'll create havoc for the wallabies but then again if the australian backs dont improve from the game against the ABs then MAYBE.......nah.... australia's gonna dump them come wilko, danny care, or any other hotshot!!

Elsom best blind sider in the world? Did anyone bother to check with Juan Smith about that? Very funny...

"England's mentality might hold firm and see them through at the end." Yeah that's a good one tell us another one. Remind me again when this mentality was last displayed? Australia by 20 plus thanks to a least a couple of yellow and maybe even a red as the only way the poms can comypete will be by cheating.
Elsom's a decent number six but Dusautoir is unquestionably the best around at the mo.

The Wilkinson v Giteau battle should be good, but i cant help but feel that Gits will outshine his opposite as he will have a better platform to work off. The Aussies should. Australia's scrum has really come a long way, credit to Ben Alexander who has not only made a succesful fist of regular test rugby, but has also nailed the conversion from loose to tight head. His good games agaisnt the 'beast' and Tony Woodcock have shown he is true quality and he is only a young player.
I'm an Aussie and i agree that Elsom is not the best, (maybe his form on the tour will prove us wrong?) but out of interest, who would you all rate as the best blindside currently playing? I think Juan Smith is pure quality but i also have alot of time for the french skipper Dusautoir. Honourable mentions to Ryan Jones (when he plays there) and Kaino but i think Elsom is better than them.

Rocky Elsom the best blindside....huh?? anyway - we'll still see the Aussies give England a hiding. There is, quite simply no way England will win this.
Their forwards make for painful watching, and the backs (bar Johnny) have about as much flair as Gordan Brown's suit.
Aussies will crush England in the first half, England will claw back in the 2nd, but Australia still by 15 points. (and the fight back by England will go down as 'progress' in next week's news!)

Don't be fooled by the Wallabies last place in the 3Nations this year.
It is the toughest and most competitive annual tournament in the world and the AI results will bear this out - as they did last year.

Danny, I think you are trying to hide the inevitable with all your dribble. !!!
Australia arrive on English soil, without their "captain" (Mortlock !, as readers memories are so short here) There has been near Mutiny in the Australia camp, first the dismissal of Turiqi and the captaincy debacle and then the rest of the injuries, including Barnes last week and the new (yet again) midfield combo of Cooper/Ioane. Not the ideal preparation for a grand slam tour, but I have confidence, as our young developing side did thrash South Africa (the greatest team ever according to the saffas) last time we played them.
At the end of the day, Australia are fielding their best available side as too England.
As it's one of Jonny Beckhams last game against Australia I predict the same score as one of his first against Australia 76-0 !!!! (that would make up for "that" drop goal !!!)

You are dreaming! England have no chance of winning even with Wilkingson (fine player that he his).
Yes the Wallabies have surrendered leads this year but only to the number one and two sides in the world. You've got no idea what you're talking about if you think this English B team has the ability to pull a game back like the Springboks or All Blacks. Through Wilkingson the English may pull the score in a little in the second half but expect the Wallaby backs to pile the points on in the second quarter.
The English will give a typically spirited display but the injuries to key players will prevent them from being as competitive as they would have been at full strength. Wallabies by 10.

England by 5??!!! BWHAAAAAAA! England will be lucky to be in touch by half time!
Even with the home advantage, for the first time in a while we will see a dominant Aus scrum and lineout. Aus will also have a far superior breakdown with some very narrow losses to the All Blacks and a very good win v the Springboks.
With England looking like a wilted rose at the moment and no test matches played for a while, the Wallabies will win this convincingly to the sound of 15+

England are gonna get creamed. They've got too many first-team players injured, and even with Wilko back they're gonna find this November hard-going.
By contrast everyone is talking the Walabies down, while they are a really good side. Sure I would have liked to see Barnes in the mix, but Cooper is a more than capable substitute. The Walabies have been playing all year against the best 2 teams in the world. Sure they've not had good results, but England is nowhere near the Boks or ABs at the moment.
Walabies to win by 20+.
