I agree this is sad news for the Welsh as he is a great player. Yes, he was quiet on Saturday but so were quite a few others. I was looking forward to this game and was expecting a Welsh win. However, I'm afraid that I was disappointed with the Welsh as we played the wrong game and kicked poorly. The Welsh looked niaive and a little overawed. You could see that they had the talent to win this but basically crumbled. When you travel to any of the SH teams you have to bring the A game and get stuck into them. They didn't do this until it was too late. I actually thought that the English did better against the Boks than the Welsh against the Aussies, all things considered. This next test is a 'must win' for the Welsh if they are to get anything positive from this tour in lines with how they were measuring themselves. Good luck guys but it is not going to be easy.

Sad news for Faletau ,maybe that was one reason he was anonyamous last weekend. He usually makes good barnstorming runs ect.Delve is a bettrer player than alot of welsh supporters think, his games improved since joining the Rebels.Wales really need to play with tempo ,and get their kicking right ,and their passing /offloads, and of course 1st up tackles .Otherwise they will lose again,Australia are a very good side ,and arnt ranked 2nd by the IRB for nothing. They really need to up their intensity and play alot better to beat Australia now,as it will be twice as hard as last weekend ,when they held virtually all the advantages. But ill continue cheering them on regardless

This is the Rebels we're talking about Jonesy - it's all relative. He won't give Palu nightmares but I thought Faletau was very quiet yesterday - Delve will do no worse.

Fish please tell me you're a saffa.

Ryan Jones clearly steps in here and is a more than able replacement.

Good move. Welsh don't lose much impact with Gareth Delve joining the team. One of the Rebels' few consistently good players.
