Hi APV1,
Ja, you are right to highlight the fact that Trinats wishes he was born, as opposed to hatched.
And thanks for explaining what Lancaster meant when he was refering to the gap between the NH and SH closing. So he was talking about continental drift was he? Ok, now he makes sense.

@ pikes - from a person named after a handfull of tall spears, or a bucketful of fish, I'll accept "insane".

@ kennyisgay - I think you'll find that Trinats (1, 2 or 3) just wishes he was born and lived north of the equator - just like so many unfortunate souls.
You know why most of the global land-mass and population is up here, don't you? That's right. Because we have the best rugby players and teams. Rugby came first; then the people and then the continental tectonic plates adapted to suit.
Simple really.

@APV1 - I think you need to add some sort of accent as you're not making it fair on them.
"Some" might suggest that the mass reactions you get are because those views are much closer to the truth than you had actually intended! (or at least some readers' fears) ;-)

I still cant believe people are still being reeled in by APV1. It makes us SH fans look like wallies with complete humour failure.
Outstanding for me were Kerr-Barlow, Conrad Smith and JP Pieterson but overall the quality was splendid and you could produce another 15 with no great difficulty.

@APV1 I can see that any one else who tries to have more prestigious name in the comp titles, ruffles your pompous feathers, you English have been calling "tripe" "gold" for far too long... some recalibration has been done re: the comp naming structure, so those who are worthy get the better name :D

@APV1, you are a poo stirrer aren't you, after all we know the only legitimate chance the NH teams have to win is in the NH, the recent tours proved that and even the almighty Wales couldn't crack an under strength Aus team without Cooper, Beale & O'Connor in the backs..! Close but no cigar!!!

@ redcoat2806 - just wait for the 4 Nations Competition. I have decided not to call it the "Rugby Championship", as that belittles the RFU Championship, which is obviously a far superior tournament, despite being our 2nd tier competition.
The very fact that the SH has to use terms such as "Super" and "Rugby Championship" just demonstrates an enormous lack of confidence in their abilities and talents, which they try to overcome with ambitions and, quite frankly, nonsensical tournament titles.

@ tweedledee49 - it just shows how versatile English props are, that they manage to turn up playing #2 for the 'Canes..!
@ Rosbif - you're absolutely right. Thank Goodness for "the French maestro", as without him the Sharks would be bereft of talent.
;-)

@georgesmith - Unfortunately Jesus didn't play or he would have been in the team of the week. Agree 1 Reds player is a joke, next week will be 22 Reds players.

I think a mention for Deon Fourie is in order. Producing a Man of the Match performance while playing in the no.8 position for the first time is quite an achievement. He saved the Stormers a few times this year.
