Jean Bouilhou is the most underrated and yet influential player to bless French rugby, the guy is rugby personified, and you don't win 4 Heineken Cup without being special. Overall, I agree with both XV you picked except for Soane Tong'uiha whose efforts did not really stroke me during the whole tournament, I would have rather picked Thomas Domingo.

Can't really argue with either of these teams. I would have liked to see Jean Bouilhou in there - the amount of work he does is just phenomenal and he was top of his game on Saturday.

Harinordoquy has played at 6 for France so it's a fair call to have him in there, I mean how do you leave him out? I can't wait for Spies v Harinordoquy in Cape Town!!!

By and large, why not? Never an easy job over a season.

Obviously the one intentional talking point is Imanol Harinordoquy. I can understand why you would want to put him in (because he was so good this season) but he was the second best no 8 and he does not play 6, so its a bit unfair to the actual 6's. Looking through the sixes that made it through to the last 8 though, nobody really stood out though (thought Bonnaire was poor even though you had him in your team of the quarters)...so why not?

Revelation of the season? The Toulouse scrum for me.
