Veteran Ospreys and Wales tighthead Adam Jones is reportedly considering a move to the Dragons at the end of the season.
Jones' Ospreys deal is up come the conclusion of the current season, and his next move has been the subject of wide speculation, with many touting a possible move to France and the Top 14.
Such a deal would prove lucrative and secure the prop's financial future ahead of his retirement, but Jones last week reiterated his desire to stay in Wales.
The prop may opt to re-sign with one of the regions, or put pen to paper on a Welsh Rugby Union central contract, as captain Sam Warburton did earlier this season.
WalesOnline report that should Jones opt to sign a central contract, his preferred destination would be Rodney Parade, and a reunion with former coach Lyn Jones.
The regions' stance remains that they will not pick any WRU centrally contracted players, as the row blighting Welsh rugby continues to fester; Warburton is the only player to have committed to a central contract.
