As melkdave says.... we do not need more journeymen in NH rugby... especially, in Welsh rugby with the already too limited opportunities for local talent. Perhaps employing journeymen also reflects the salary cap that clubs have agreed to implement on a voluntary basis. We need to trust clubs like The Scarlets, that they have thought this one through.

Dont get me wrong i have ni problem with players moving to earn a living .But the scarlets recently let a home grown player go ,then sign a overseas player .Just seems wrong somehow

Who?? annother journeyman player comming north,i expect there will be quite a few SAs looking to move north this year with the Kings fiasco starting in 2013.I expect that the Cats framchise will reform(Cheetahs &Lions merger),so alot of players will be looking for jobs But i do feel a clubs priority should be to develop home grown talant as it pays off big time in the long run
