go easy on Jmanngod. hes obviously just having a joke.
the be fair in reality this injury wont make one little bit of difference. if the AB's right now arent unbeatable then there is no such thing as unbeatable.

yeah they have a good side spike doesent mean there unbeatable Aus made the mistake of underestimating this team and paid for it in the RWC but we haven't beaten the kiwis before and i hate to say it but with kidney not bringing in Schmidt as attack coach they prob will again Ireland need to start playing smart adventurous rugby and the right teem needs to be picked preferably without O'Callahan or Murray and the bench needs to be strengthened big time withe actual players who can play.

Who exactly is underdone now?? Have you been watching the super 15? Ireland are going to get absolutely destroyed with or without O'Connell.
I would bet on their reserve team beating Ireland no problem, they have two world class players in every position not to mention a whole crop of up and coming talent who would probably also give us a run for it.
Its not a question of whether Ireland will be beaten but only by how much.

@ Jmanngod
What multiple injuries? Underdone NZ - how did you come to that conclusion?

@IreSonny- do you mean O'Callaghan deserves it? Tuohy should definitely be there, he's been amazing this season, and was named in the Pro12 team of the year. Tuohy and Ryan to start for me.

Probably a small relief to Hansen, who will o doubt nervous about the absence of Brad Thorne

pity for O'Connell... one suspects a massively underdone NZ with multiple injuries may be in danger of dropping a test against a full strength Ireland.

Well with him now out and McCarthy apparently citied for gouging, this should mean that Tuohy gets his second chance and possible even Toner. However I still feel that O'Callaghan will partner Ryan (he deserves it though) in the second row.

Bad news for Ireland. But this could have been a lot worse for Paul.
