I'll agree McGahan has done well to bring some new blood through but frankly since the 2009 semi final Munster have been playing poor rugby. They're no longer a real major force in Europe. They have lost the hard-nosed mental edge that always saw them beat the best in Europe. The manner in which they lost all of those semi finals shows that there is something definitely wrong with Munster rugby. That comes from the coaching and filters downwards. Magners leagues are scant consolation. And as for saying success has gone to our heads, why shouldnt it have? Munster are well capable of better rugby than they've been playing for the last couple of seasons. It's a shame to see such a force in rugby go downhill so fast

He also led Munster to 2 League wins in his 3 full seasons (could well add another in his 4th), 2 Heineken Cup S/Fs, an Amlin SF and a HEC Q/F. These may not be the levels Munster expect themselves to be at, but they are winning medals and still very much in the elite of European rugby. Kidney left him with an old squad, so he has brought through the likes of Murray, Zebo, POM, Sherry etc. Good to see years of success hasn't gone to the heads of Munster fans...........

Surprising that he got the job really. His CV isnt great with Munster. Took them from being the best team in Europe to 3rd best in Ireland. Fairly lucky that he's getting a job elsewhere

Well i certinally hope that P.Blake is on the RFUs shortlist to join SL andGR as an England coach.Given what his managed to do with the Australian backs ,id be more than happy for him to join the english set up with 3 yrs till the RWC i think he could do wonders for our back play

Jim Williams has been "appointed by the New South Wales Rugby Union to encourage and support young indigenous Australians through the Government¿s Learn, Earn, Legend! program." It's up on the nswrugby website.

Best of Luck to McGahan - I hope he can cut the mustard at the highest level.
I have my doubts but wish him all the best non the less.
