After being starved of Test action with the British and Irish Lions in Australia, Stuart Hogg admits he's counting down the days until he returns to PRO12 duty with Glasgow Warriors.
The utility back was one of four Scotland players selected for the Lions tour to Australia and while he failed to appear for the Test side he at least impressed for the mid-week team.
The 21-year-old also shone for Glasgow last season, helping them reach the semi-finals of the PRO12 where they were beaten 17-15 by Leinster.
And after landing back in Scotland to prepare for the new season Hogg is desperate to take Glasgow all the way to the final this time round.
"As much as I would have loved to have been involved with the Test Series team, I'm still coming back here a better player," he said.
"I'm just looking forward to a rest now and then getting back into it with Glasgow. I'm looking forward to getting back into training.
"We got to the semi-finals last year and I'm hoping to do one better in the season ahead. I'm hoping to play a massive part in it."
