rugbyheim, 4 million plus what?? Most people wouldn't give a toss about Cooper or even rugby for that matter.. I was at that game and most of the crowd stood to clap him off, seems to me like you seriouslyyyy made that up. But a seriousllllyyy good story anyway.

@georgesmith... Do you have ANY basis in fact for those outrageous comments? Are you seriously suggesting that Dan Carter and Kieren Read are disgruntled and unhappy because Richie is still Captain how can you possibly know this to be true?

Cooper gets booed because he's like one of those noisy barking little dogs that nips the postman's ankle then runs inside. He just needs to stop being a jerk.
His first game in NZ was against the Chiefs in Hamilton, near where he was born. He came with a big reputation. He skipped, danced, side stepped swerved and then got hammered by old hand Marty Holah all game and the crowd loved it - so he was a crowd favourite right from the first game!

georgesmith - I don't think there is any rivalry at all. cooper talked himself up last year and made himself look more of an idiot. one is a leader with over 300 first class games for province, super franchise and country, the other still basically at the start of his career and if he stays fit may have years ahead of him
and mccaw id not always captain of crusaders - or canterbury in itm cup - read has been often in 2012; have never read of carter's captaincy aspirations

Amazing at how ONE player offended 4 million plus nzers. ONE player!! Even so more amazing at hearing the Eden Park crowd celebrate, and cheer so loud and proud when Cooper badly injured himself in 3rd spot play off against Wales at the RWC last year - the type of cheer you make when a player scores a try. ONE player!! Seriously NZ......

Carpelone
Read what McCaw said. He advised Cooper to try and turn it to his advantage.
How about a change in your attitude and stop bleating and whining and lose all the snidy pointless comments

Good sport, Cory.
Wish somebody else in your team gets your attitude.
Not just a fast sausages catcher, huh?

Yeah great rivalry Q. Cooper and R. McCaw. The veteran needs to be punished for cheating especially when refs overlook it. Anyways... D. Carter is not happy with R. McCaw always being captain of ABs and Crusaders all the time. World-class player Carter also wants to be captain and acquire fame. But at the moment tis alll about R. McCaw and players like D.Carter and K.Read are not happy.
