@ UBA05... i think your crazy or a Kiwi. What is your definition of great. I think tis number of Test caps. What about results or number of Tests won or being results-driven. How can you (N.Sharpe) become great player without winning a World Cup or Super Rugby titles. Hoow many Test matches has he won against world's top team ABs to become so great like some proclaim him to be. Just big time over-rated player.
I repeat... opening 20minutes, N. Sharpe and S.Kepu made about a dozen unforced errors and Australia slumped to 3-18. Game over! We don't see experienced Kiwi players making such mistakes. N.Sharpe had his moment a few times but he wasn't anything special no he is now. Better put faith in R. Simmons and other youngsters.

pinky -- i think you are on the money there, that sort of thing is not a good look its ok in super rugby games to be matesy after the games and what not but this is the bledisloe. excuse the league example but could imagine the blues and maroons players having a laugh with each other after origin 1. by the way moore is starting cos taf has a sore bum
this is a stronger wallabies team than last week except for pocock obviously. kurtley will be on the bench. berrick at 12 with quade at 10 is awesome. higginbotham and dennis have to left their game they were pathetic last week. good luck to hooper aswell.

@georgesmith (they should banish you in aussie for tarnishing the great man's name by the way)
Any chance you caught your wife touching herself to pictures of nathan sharpe?? Seriously, I believe you have ripped into sharpe on every aussie article since the RC squad was named!!
Please name the better aus players last weekend. If sharpe isnt in the top 5, i'm sorry sir, but you are an imbecile.

It wouldn't surprise me if Beale has been dropped because of his broad smile, uncontrolled laughter and high hand slapping with SBW after the final whistle last week......he should've been walking off hanging his head in shame like most of the rest of the Aussie team. Why Moore is not starting this one and why Barnes is still there is beyond me.....

Shrewd selections from Deans. QC offers far more unpredictability, Barnes outside him to steady the ship and Horne adding some steel on the outside. Mitchell is class on form and AAC is always a threat at the back. Beale's a bit low on confidence and needs to get that back, could yet make an impact from the bench. In defence however, the likes of Rob horne is really going to have to stand up and be counted if the Wallabies are to stop the juggernaut AB midfeild from tearing their backline to ribbons. If they can cut out the unforced errors, and the likes of Cooper and Genia hit top form, I'd pick Aus Australia to cause an upset. They are overdue a win in Auckland and NZ are due a loss after 11 straight victories.

before the first etst he wasn't chosen as "lacked sufficient game time"
Has he had some now? Where.
Must say this highlights the advantages of eg Currie Cup and ITM Cup, ITM has started with players having 10 weeks matches ahead of them, keeping the back-ups match-fit.

This calls for an AB rethink...duh. No need to pass the ball out wide...no need for dummy runners....Carter, SBW, and Nonu faced by a cowardly lion at 10, a timid scarecrow in a scrum cap at 12, ....a veritable Red's carpet laid out down the Yellow Brick Road. What shall we call this rugby fiasco? How about the Wizard of Oz?
I do hope the boys in black play nicely and take turns to score, but I think that its going to be like letting 15 fat kids loose in the sweet shop. ABs by 35+

Ah Trinats, still trolling to your heart's content I see, by the way Hollywood is fiction nor real life, found that out when I was 6 together with the fact that Father Xmas was a fraud. Broke my heart, sorry you still have to find that out, but you are probably younger than me.

The AB were decidedly off their game last week so look for them to play better this week. Quadestile is mercurial and should never be discounted, especially if Genia and Ioane play up to their potential...

Good luck to him (though not too much!); not the ideal situation for a return to test rugby after injury and the media pressure. I hope the spectators behave - though unfortunately there will always be some oafs in the crowd - every country has their share.

Seriously you Kiwi's are still harping on about QC? Richie has had his revenge many times over either by playing a blinder, or by helping build a win for the NZ team... QC is nowhere near the player of early last year, and hopefully he has pulled his head right in and will just ignore the BS and just concentrate on playing...
And as for the calls that this could get messy, on form this is a better OZ team than last week (except for Pocock of course)....

Copper and Barnes at 10-12? Not sure the ABs will be using Nonu/SBW as dummy runners quite so much this week...

Guess Hansen will need to refine his "go wide and run through Kurtley Beale" game plan.
Still reckon they'll muller Oz. Not a great fan of owens for celtic bias reasons but he does usually allow strong scrummagers to impose themselves and expliot their advantage, so I reckon the wallabies and in deep trouble. As for Cooper, its a bit unfair to single him out when his pack are going backwards. Seem to remember Carter looking poor behind a few All Black packs in South Africa within the last 8 years.

This is hollywood, written in the stars or Karma.
Cooperman to the rescue. written off after the world cup, NZ public enemy No1. Australia on the ropes, not given a hope, missing 2 captains and multiple injuries. what a way to come back !! Cooper has a great game and wins it for Australia, redemption, what headlines and a hollywood story.
You wouldn't shut me up for weeks !!! Apologies in advance :-)

Deans dropped Beale because he made a few mistakes...??? Beale is class, he was the driving force that helped the Rebels beat the Crusaders this year. He had a bad night last Saturday but I think it was just a case of getting the wobbles in the first game of a new tournament. I would like to see him on the bench at least. Beale is class.
