Injury woes: Allister Coetzee

The decimated Stormers squad has taken another beating after Saturday's derby loss to the Bulls with Scarra Ntubeni ruled out for at least six weeks.

With Allister Coetzee's second-rows dropping like flies, the head coach will have been relieved to see his dwindling stock of locks come through the Pretoria clash unscathed.

But he now faces further problems at hooker, with Ntubeni's absence adding to counterpart Tiaan Liebenberg's period on the sidelines. The latter will not be fit for another three weeks, so the versatile Deon Fourie is almost certain to start in the number two jersey against the Force in the Stormers' next fixture.

Coetzee's concerns do not end there: prop Brok Harris may miss the Newlands showdown with the high-flying Perth outfit thanks to a cut eyelid, and skipper Schalk Burger left the field nursing a back knock.
