Stormers pleeeeese get you checkbook out and buy him. As far as Bok selection goes on the wing i really like Basson the bulls wing.

@NHsaints, some good selections there. I am a massive Goosen fan, but at 19, they may put him on the bench and pick Lambie at 10 instead of 15. Viljoen is probably the leading 15 at the moment and JP Peterson will probably revert to wing for the boks. Personally, I think the SA cupboard is well stocked at present and so many young players that you could almost pick a full Bok side U25 that could see the next 2 RWC

NH Saints - you raise a good point. Sarel Pretorius should be capped quick before he gets residency in Aus.

It would be great to see him back at the Sharks but he is originally from the Freestate and I suspect he will go where the best offer is.

Hopefully he'll be 12 for the boks and sharks then (and this is from an Englishman) he is honestly the best back SA have available...he was brilliant at the world cup...Also with the right selections made I can see a very nice SA backline shaping up... 9-hougaard (pretorius if he weren't in Aus) 10-Goosen, 11- Basson, 12-Steyn 13-De Jongh/Habana, 14- Aplon or Le roux (depending on how the rest of the season goes for Le roux) 15- Pieterson (the one who looks like montgomery)

Its great and all that he is coming back, but do the sharks really need more backs.

It seems like they are buying to keep the opposition weak, so he comes back as fullback or centre. Now what happens to Whitehead, Joubert, Bosman, Ludik and Viljoen. The is boarderline madness. We need to start giving these teams a salary cap.

The Sharks are an insult to south african rugby. Frans Steyn is free to go where ever he wants, but the Sharks have to stop this madness.
