Reds prop Ben Daley and centre Chris Feauai-Sautia are heading back to Brisbane after injuries cut their South African tour short.
Daley will be out for six weeks after suffering a grade two medial ligament strain during last weekend's loss to the Sharks in Durban. Daley was sent home for scans over the weekend and will begin rehabilitation immediately.
Feauai-Sautia will also return home to Brisbane. He trained on Tuesday but complained of hamstring soreness on Wednesday.
He was assessed and it was determined he was not fit for selection, so the best course of action was to return home for scans and treatment.
The Reds face the Lions at Ellis Park on Saturday in the final leg of their South African tour.
