Reds back Mike Harris held in contact

Starting for Reds: Mike Harris

The Reds have been forced to make a late change to their line-up for Saturday's clash against the Western Force at Suncorp Stadium.

Centre Anthony Faingaa has been ruled out of the encounter with a back injury.

Medical staff assessed back discomfort experienced by Faingaa following Friday's captain's run and have chosen to withdraw him from the match.

His withdrawal means eight-cap Wallaby Mike Harris earns a promotion into the starting side at outside centre while Dom Shipperley comes onto the bench.

Shipperley was initially ruled out of this debry match earlier in the week with a back injury of his own but trained strongly in the later part of the week and has been passed fit to play.

Reds (revised): 15 Jono Lance, 14 Luke Morahan, 13 Mike Harris, 12 Ben Tapuai, 11 Chris Feauai-Sautia, 10 Quade Cooper, 9 Will Genia, 8 Jake Schatz, 7 Liam Gill, 6 Ed Quirk, 5 Ed O'Donoghue, 4 Rob Simmons, 3 James Slipper, 2 Saia Faingaa, 1 Greg Holmes.
Replacements: 16 James Hanson, 17 Albert Anae, 18 Adam Wallace-Harrison, 19 Jarrad Butler, 20 Nick Frisby, 21 Dom Shipperley, 22 Aidan Toua.
