@lawynd. The Rebels Model would not be sustainable Australia wide. Can you imagine if all 5 teams had a license to half fill their teams with imports? In the same fashion the UK teams do? It woud be over for Australian rugby...

Trinats I think you have been hanging out in the wrong "sheds". Those in the know down here tell me it was a done deal weeks ago. Not sure where your ARU top deal come from, Higgers is good but not great they cannot top every Wannabe its not like he is even a sure starter. I cannot comment on the amount (cos I have no idea), just seems to me know one wants to hang around Queensland, (apart from QC of course, he is still waiting on the offers) something rotten in the pineapple barrel, watch this space when the title goes - but I promise I won't say I told you so.

The Rebels will continue to go from strength to strength...which begs the question, how long before the other Australian clubs demand to be able to adopt their business model?
