@trinats2 - Yeah but that's not my point, my point is that they may have a streak going but they haven't had to play in ChCh & that's where last years game was due to be played.

Would they have the streak if it was played in NZ? Who knows? But the Crusaders are especially tough to beat on their home ground & my guess Is they'd have the most dominant all-time home record of any team in the comp.

Home advantage is always worth points, I would be suprised if there's a professional sports team in the World that has a better all-time away record than home record.

Get a win on Sunday & I'll give greater respect to that streak. It's as simple as that because right now it is a bias one.

Oh & about the refs. Well duh!!! Most of the time NZ & Aus play in Rugby it's going to be a Saffa ref because they are the other team in the comp & you need a neutral ref. So yeah it is a coincidence & Why would a Saffa ref be bias toward NZ lol? That would be like Frazier rooting for Ali.

hayj05:

In your own words, regarding the Reds dominance over the Crusaders, "all their victories, thoroughly deserved"

Nuff said.

Trinats2 your a fool, don't shoot your mouth off about one good year and then blame the refs for 11 bad years......

ageee, Fruean was very good, but what people do not realise is that he was up against Kingston (a winger) playing his first ever game at centre with a novice outside him. also who was it that missed the tackle on Adam Ash-coop for Tahs first try ? Fruean. But keep it quiet, we want him selected.

hayj05: 11 times in a row will be easy if we have NH/non-saffa ref for next 11 games. Just like NZ 11 wins, were all with Saffa refs ! But that was just a coincidence !!!!! ah Paddy

@trinats2.0 - Yeah but what you don't mention is that all their victories, although thoroughly deserved, were in Brisbane. The Reds were lucky enough to host the Crusaders for the last two seasons which is a bit unfair considering every other year the alternative venue has been used.

When the Reds beat the Crusaders 11 times in a row on a home, away, home, away basis then I'll be impressed. BTW that's what the Crusaders did to the Reds up until 2009 if you didn't pick up on the reference ;)

Should be a cracking game & I'm certainly not writing the defending champs off.

wouldn't surprise if Reds make it four in a row; easy to rave about Fruean last week v Waratahs but the rest of the team was less than impressive; Crusaders have put on one good display this season imo, 2 weeks ago v Stormers, apart from that seem to be at a steady 80%.

"Ben Daley (hamstring) and flanker Beau Robinson (fibula) to miss the clash after sustaining minor injuries in last Friday's 23-11 win over the Blues.

Both are expected to miss just one week before returning for the Reds next home game at Suncorp Stadium against the Chiefs."

Ha ha, they are resting them this week (Crusaders haven't beaten the reds since 2009)
