The Lions have secured the signatures of Elton Jantjies and two other Springboks as they prepare for the 2014 Super Rugby season.
Jantjies' agent James Adams confirmed via twitter on Wednesday that the fly-half, who was on loan at the Stormers during this year's tournament, has signed a two year contract extension with the Johannesburg-based franchise until the end of 2015.
Fellow Springboks, utility back Lionel Mapoe and lock Franco van der Merwe have also signed two-year extensions to their current contracts.
The Lions have also secured the services of Marnitz Boshoff, Alwyn Hollenbach, Ruan Combrinck, Jaco Kriel, Warren Whiteley and Willie Wepener, several of which also extended their current deals.
Prop Bees Roux recently joined them on a three month deal, and is also likely to stay on.
