Such a pity, all these injuries... a squad with ZERO depth to begin with are now forced to play guys who simply dont belong at S15 level. Results are not going to come.

I continue to worry about John Mitchell's style. There are different ways of talking about the same situation. If your players are inexperienced you can say something like "there are a few people here who shouldn't be playing S15 and are inexperienced"
or
"we have a young team who are still learning the ropes at this level and I expect that as we mature as a group into the potential we plainly have, we will be surprising a few of the higher-ranked teams."
Even a naive watcher from the sidelines like me can find fault in players. It's getting them to overcome their faults and build on their positives that deserves the big coaching dollars or rand.

Its a shame really that the Lions have been unable to translate their Currie cup form into the S15 .I had hoped this year they would start to come good and trouble teams alot more but alas it seems its not to be .I also wonder if they will ever play S15 again given the arrival of the Kings in 2013
