I agree with kpe12, I think Jane is getting better and better each time I see him play - comes across as class and a thinker too. Travesty if he doesn't become a regular AB on form over the last two seasons...

Well, I think it is time to drag the knife from the draw and cut myself a large slice of humble pie. I was one of the first to slag Hammett off as the Canes started shedding All Blacks like an oak sheds leaves in autumn. But the truth is none of us were privy to behind the scenes at the Canes setup and, clearly, all was not well. Hammett has had the courage of his convictions and determination to say adios to those not fitting in with his vision and it has paid off in spades. It only remains to say "All strength to your elbow Mark and may it long continue" There is nothing better than watching a team that really believes in what they are doing and gel well together. The current England setup is another good example. Interestingly, look at the Blues and ask yourself "where did all those Hurricanes go??!"

A guy I never rated for his first few seasons but has an incredible feel for the game and plays with a high rugby IQ. Give him a black jersey
