@GCP_JONES cheers I think we are gonna need that luck with our current form!!!! Latest news on the grapevins is that Rory Lawsoin is definitely going as well - not surprised now that Jimmy is coming!

I'm disappointed that New Zealand rugby is losing him. All the talk has been about Smith, Perenara and Kerr Barlow, but in the little I have seen of Cowan this season he has been outstanding. He's still only 28 and with such a lot left in the tank it's a shame he has been lost to English rugby. I hope they pay him well.
But I guess this is what happens when you win a world cup. Even those who have been loyal to their home union (Cowan is said to have rejected an approach from the Crusaders some years ago) start to look for different challenges. If it is a sign that the cup winners are struggling for motivation, then I hope Hanson and co take note.

@GCP_JONES Well different reports reckon that Glos have secured additional funding and will be spending close to the salary cap so will expect few more players for sure. Redpath did think we needed a scrum half (cowan), hooker and a winger. think we have 15 plus players out of contract at the end of the season including a lot of the Academy guys so any other positions are anybodys guess! Nick Wood has been playing out of his skin so not sure Golding would get much of a look in - better of getting a quality tighthead I reckon!

@APV1 latest I heard was that he was shown round Stade Francais a while ago but no offer has surfaced as of yet. Due to him no longer being part of the EPS, Glos have to pay all his wages which were fairly sizeable. It hink they offered him a year on reduced salary but he was looking for a 2yr contract.

GREAT SIGNING!!!!!! BATH TAKE NOTE ON HOW TO RECRUIT!!!!!!!!! I have always enjoyed watching Jimmy play, very aggressive and firer players and never took a backwards step, gaining over 50 caps with the likes of Marshall and Kelleher about takes some doing, only 28, another 4 good years in him at least, gem of a signing!!!!!!!!!

@philb87 Tindall will not be with us next season, although not officially announced, not a bad thing with the youngsters we have in the centres (Twelvetrees & Trinder will be first choice centres).

He'll bring a lot to the Cherry and Whites and is an excellent player. A good signing for them (not so for the rest of us!).
Anyone got any news on Tindall..? I heard that he's off at the end of the season to France...

Great signing for the cherry and whites. I'm really hoping that they overcome this slump and cement the final Heineken cup spot for next season, with the likes of Gowan and Morgan they will be a far better bet than say the Sharks, they still need another back-row and prop IMO.

Always gave his all but has been usurped by the young tyros in NZ rugby like Aaron Smith and tawera Kerr Barlow.
Good luck to him...he'll probably form one hell of a drinking team with Mike Tindall.
